Profile

Dr. Chetan P Shah is a Mumbai-based Interventional Cardiologist practising since the year 2000. After completing his MD, he obtained the DM (Cardiology) superspeciality degree, and was also conferred the titles of Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP). In addition he completed Fellowships in Electrophysiology & Arrhythmias in USA and Canada, and a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology from Australia.

He did Arrhythmia & Cardiac EP fellowship from Michigan State University of Ottawa Heart Institute, for 3 years, (1996-1999) in USA.

He has worked as Junior Consultant in the field of Interventional Cardiology &  Arrhythmias for 2 years (1999-2000) at Royal Perth Hospital & Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth Australia. 

He has done more than 5,000 angioplasties, including complex Coronary Interventions. 

He has served as Vice President of Indian College of Cardiology for 2 years. He is the visiting professor of Cardiology at the Michigan State University, MI, USA. He is fellow of American College of Cardiology(FACC) & Fellow of American College of Physicians (FACP) 

He has done Fellowship in Electrophysiology & Arrhythmias , Ottawa Heart Institute, Canada
