  • Lt.Gen.Dr.V.Ravishankar is associated with Lilavati Hospital since November 2015.He has an immense experience of 38yrs and 25yrs in Cardiothoracic surgery. He has annually treated around 150 cases

Overseas training and assignments:

  • Advanced Training in CT Surgery (in 2000) at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Portland – Oregon USA (Starr Ahmad Fellowship) & (in 20002 – 2003) at Perth, Australia
  • Served in Sri Lanka as General Surgeon in “Indian Peace Keeping Force” between 1989-1990. Gained experiences as trauma care surgeon and performed with distinction.
  • Served at Sultanate of Oman (Muscat) on deputation to foreign nation between 1981-1984 as Medical Officer of Regimental Troops.
