Profile

Dr.Rajas has experience of over 20yrs and has seen over one lakh from over 26 countries all over the world.

He topped the post-doctoral D.M. Neurology exams from Mumbai University in 2002 and worked as a Neurologist at the S.G.S. Medical College / K.E.M. hospital Mumbai for two years. He then went to the prestigious University of Western Ontario to pursue fellowships in Multiple Sclerosis, Demyelinating Disorders and Movement Disorders.
 
At the London Health Sciences center, Ontario CA, he also worked in advanced Neurosciences and Neuro-ophthalmology units for two years.
 
He participated in 15 international clinical and research trials as a treating or examining Neurologist. He wrote a chapter ‘‘Clinical Spectrum: Demyelinating Diseases“ in the textbook “Neurology and clinical neurosciences“ by Elsevier (2007).
He was the first Indian Neurologist to contribute a chapter for the “Advances in Neurology: Multiple Sclerosis“ by LWW (2006).
 
His special interests include Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease and Movement Disorders, Stroke, Complicated Neurology cases and Dementias.
 
His interests besides Neurology include thought analysis, digital technology, teaching, music and writing. He writes to improve the doctor-patient communication, doctor’s rights and also against unfair defamation of medical professionals. His book THE DOCTOR GENE was recently published by Partridge.
 
He participates in Medical (Neurology) and medicolegal, Medical Social teaching and works via social media and lecture series towards improving the doctor-patient relationship. He has also attended many convocation ceremonies in medical and paramedical institutes as a chief guest to guide the new generation doctors and paramedics.
 
He was also invited by the NOTTO under the GOI as one of the experts to formulate the criteria for brainstem death in view of organ transplantation.
