Dr.Harshad Parekh has an experience of more than 32 years.After completing his MS, Dr. Harshad Parekh joined as a Senior House Officer in Neurosurgery at J.J. Group of Hospitals and Grant Medical College where the Neurosurgical Department is actively involved in teaching & training of budding Neurosurgeons.

During his training, he assisted all the major neurosurgical procedures and operations like Emergency Craniotomies, Posterior Fossa, and Microsurgery for Glimos, Meningiomas for other benign conditions, shunts for hydrocephalus and laminectomies for degenerative conditions tumors, in large numbers. During this period, he passed his M.Ch. Neurosurgery examination.

Later on, he was sponsored to the United Kingdom at Royal Preston Hospital, Preston for further training & expertise in the field of Micro vascular, Stereotactic, anterior cervical micro-neurosurgery, Skull Base & Pediatric Neurosurgery. After acquiring further expertise in the said specialties at UK & Universal Hospital, Zurich, Switzerland, he returned to India and joined J.J. Group of hospital as Lecturer & Consultant Neurosurgeon. He is now actively involved in Research projects & Teaching DNB students as well.

Dr. Harshad Parekh has also published various papers and conducted research projects in his area of specialty.
