• Standardized Histopathology Reporting formats and Grossing protocols, as per International standards.
• Set up Immunohistochemistry section, with over 100 antibodies being tested on a daily basis, with relevant protocols and standardization in place.
• Started the Immunofluorescence testing, for kidney and skin biopsies.
• Set up Endoscopic biopsy- Frozen reporting for rapid diagnosis for cancer patients, which facilitates their management decisions
• Started Colored Surgical Paints for accurate surgical margin interpretation of Oncology Specimens, and introduced this method country wide, and for this was awarded a Best paper prize at The International IHPBA Conference, New Delhi (2010), for this innovation. This innovation was presented at multiple national and international fora, and published in medical journals and this is now practiced in various premier medical Institutes all over the country
• Introduced Intra-op PTH assay during Parathyroid surgery to minimize surgical exploration, and improve operative efficacy, as well as cosmesis.
• Set up Acetylcholine esterase test for Hirschsprungs disease, and is at present the only centre in Mumbai offering this test
• Presented papers at world and Asia pacific conferences and invited faculty at SAARC conferences, other international meets, and at national conferences.
• Recognition and Awards: Merit Certificate for standing 1st in the MD – Pathology examination at Pune University.
• Recipient of the Nathu Foundation Trust Award for standing 1st in the Order of Merit in MD, Pathology.

• Papers in multiple National and International publications, invited review articles, and book chapters.
